Why a jam session?
In 2017 with the first edition of 47 Days challenge, we were approached by hundreds of students for guidance, mentorship on how to approach the challenge.
Overwhelmed by the love and support, and seeing the urge to learn about how to express through letterforms, we decided to jam together with experts, enthusiasts, and students to gear up for this year's edition.
About the session
On 9th August, Hitesh Malaviya (Rocky), a renowned type designer who has designed typefaces for Indic scripts as well as Latin will conduct the jam session in 2 batches.
Batch 1 9 am to 12 pm
Batch 2 2 pm to 5 pm
at Adobe Bangalore
Adobe Tower, Prestige Platina Tech Park, Outer Ring Road, Kadubeesanahalli, Bangalore.
Learn, create, take the challenge!
Each batch will have multiple tracks where the type experts will guide the students on how to choose a style, medium or a concept for the type challenge. Once the challenge starts on 15th August 2019, it is up to the participants whether they create all letterforms in one same style or use a different style each day.
This is a great opportunity for students to discover and unleash their skills and showcase them to the global audience. Jam is just a start, the journey is much longer!
